My husband and I are planning a trip to Italy in May 2015. We want to use the Barclay card and earn points but I am unsure which type of travel counts as "eligible" for points and would hate to book something only to discover it is not eligible for points.
I have found a great deal at $845 (with Delta) for round trip Miami (MIA) to Rome (FCO). I think that is an excellent price.
How can I be sure that the ticket purchase I make is eligible for points?
thank you all for any info you share.
You can call customer service for peace of mind, but I'm finding the rewards card super, super easy to use. An ease that is just so unexpected considering you have to fight tooth and nail to catch a break on anything these days.
All transactions that are eligible show up in the rewards section when you pull up your online account. You won't have any problems using your rewards on a major airline like Delta!
You will actually earn more miles for travel purchases like airline tickets. 2 miles per $1 versus 1 mile for other items. Enjoy your trip.
