Re: First time going to Japan

We went last March towards the start of the cherry blossom season, so a lot of the places we went to were centered around parks and trying to get a glimpse of the beautiful cherry blossoms.

Tokyo:

*Imperial Palace Gardens. Go to Chidorigafuchi Moat in Kitanomaru Park when the boat house opens and take a boat around the moat to enjoy the cherry blossoms.

*Tokyo Dome. We caught a Tokyo Giants game. They sung aloud. They cheered. They chanted. Went for a few innings just to feel all the positivity and camaraderie. Worth it!

*Harajuku + Meiji Shrine & Yoyogi Park

Osaka:

*Osaka Castle Museum @Osaka Castle Park

*Dotonbori. A boat tour at night. The lights!

Kyoto:

*Fushimi Inari Shrine

*Togetsukyo Bridge to Monkey Park Iwatayama

*Bamboo groves

Did not go to Okinawa.
