Interesting. I actually had to call Barclays customer service a few days ago and I received outstanding service. The representative who I talked to was top-notch. This is a major point in Barclays favor.
I've only had to call Barclay's once but no one I talked to had heard of the travel comminuty. Luckily the mods are here are super helpful! (And so are all of you guys!)
I have only used the portal for transferring points to partners. Maybe next time you call, you could ask for a supervisor. I hope all turns out ok for your travels.
I know it’s a little late in the game now but I just booked our Asia tickets through the portal. There was a computer glitch so I called and they were very helpful. Got a great deal on two multi-city tickets. I give them a 👍🏻
