We just booked a trip to Banff and the surrounding area for this summer. If anyone has any must do hikes or other suggestions, I'd love to hear them!
Not a hike, but you can find some along the way. Drive up the icefields parkway to Jasper. If I recall it is 3 hours 1 way, but it is one of the most beautiful drives i've ever taken, and there are stunning views and Jasper is fantastic. There will be so many hikes along the way. If your trip is already set, then do it as a day trip, but if it is not, maybe stay in Jasper for a night or two, you won't be disappointed.
One beautiful and fairly easy hike is from the beginning of Lake Louise to Lake Agnes Tea House and Return via Plain of Six Glaciers Tea House (or the other way around). Great views guaranteed!
