Known Tech Issues - PLEASE READ

We have created this discussion thread for Barclaycard Travel Community Managers to post known tech issues on the community web site. Please read the below list BEFORE posting a technical issue you are experiencing. We will provide updates as soon as possible for each issue to keep everyone updated. Thank you for your patience as we update/create this list.

 

8/7/2014 UPDATE: IF the daily Participation Miles file runs later than 6pm EST, the Participation Miles updates will occur the next day (catching up 2 days worth of activity). This is a technical issue that we are quickly working on creating a solution. We appreciate everyone's patience while we work to implement a resolution to these issues.

 

8/18/2014 UPDATE: We are investigating an issue with the Participation Miles file that is impacting some community member's Lifetime Participation Miles totals and is also impacting the Daily Alert emails. As soon as we receive additional information, we will update this thread. Thank you!

 

9/4/2014 UPDATE: The issue identified on 8/18 was resolved on 8/21. We have also identified an issue on 9/1 with the transfer of the Participation Miles to Arrival accounts. The issue has been resolved and we are waiting on confirmation that all Participation Miles for August activity have transferred. Thank you!

 

9/24/2014 UPDATE: There was an issue identified starting 9/10 that created a lag in the Participation Miles updating every day for activities for the period of 9/10-9/20. This issue has been resolved as of 9/21/2014 and we are verifying the daily file is running correctly today. We will provide additional details as soon as possible. Thank you!

 

9/25/2014 UPDATE on previous issue: Issue identified with the inability to upload photos when Community Member reaches 995 Travel Stories posted. We are investigating this issue and hope to implement a resolution shortly. 

 

10/3/2014 UPDATE: The uploading photos issue has been corrected. The Participation Miles daily file has not updated individual Lifetime Miles totals starting 9/27. We are working to resolve this issue and will update this thread as soon as possible. 

 

10/10/2014 UPDATE: The Participation Miles daily file has been experiencing delays that have impacted the lifetime calculations. All data IS tracked on the backend and will 'catch up' to reflect all daily activity. 

 

10/23/2014 UPDATE: The Participation Miles daily file has been experiencing delays updating individual Lifetime Miles totals starting 10/18. We are working to resolve this issue and will update this thread as soon as possible. 

12/31/2014 UPDATE: The Participation Miles daily file issues have been resolved. 

 

And, as a reminder, all activity is tracked in the back end and verified before miles are posted to your Arrival accounts at the end of the month and/or e-certificates are emailed out.

 

2/6/2015 UPDATE: We have identified a technical issue that is prohibiting community members from posting Travel Stories, comments and other publishing features. This issue has since been resolved.

Especially about the current issue of not being able to post new stories to cities never written about, but in same country!
