Re: Iceland

While I can't speak to Iceland, I understand its quite similar to Norway and Finland. The best times there are December - Early April. In my frequent travels to northern Scandinavia I have noticed March gets the most colorful Aurora's but January and February have more frequent Auroras. But I have never not seen them in late feb-march. Temperatures will be in the single digits and most likely dip into the negatives (Farenheit) during peak times (11pm - 5am). I wore several layers and a snow suit and was still chilly so just take your warmest gear and something to sit on and sip on!
